5. Instead of capturing soldiers receiving medical help or more positive aspects of the war he captures the horrors. He has been shot at and seem people being executed in front of him and that is what he wants to portray in his photography.

7. While he was shooting pictures of the war, his camera was shot which was right next to his face. This shows that things were not always easy for him but he kept pushing through.
