A Camera In Every Pocket
I think that high quality camera embedded in our phones make the opportunity to capture a great picture really easily. Before photographers had to deal with having the perfect opportunity for a photo but not having the equipment to take it with them. This problem is solved with modern technology. I think that cell phones are a great thing for photographers.
Review of generators
Neave was an okay generator. The lines that you draw eventually disappear. I would rather the lines stay so that you can create a finished product.
Bomomo was a really cool art generator. I liked it because there were several different brush size, texture, and color options. It also gives you the ability to do more of the drawing and creativeness.
I also really liked Sumo Paint because it allows you to be really creative. This generator does not do the drawing for you, it is mostly based on skill.

Alternative assignment
"Tax dollars should not be wasted on art, music or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."
Some people believe that we should not be paying money to contribute to the arts in public schools. They perceive art as a waste of time and money and think that school is strictly for academic learning. They also feel that art is not beneficial for the kids in the "real-world".
Personally, I believe that the arts is amazing and beneficial to everyone. Art is form of individuality and self expression. With out it, students would not feel unique or different from others. School is where a lot of kids find their passion in the arts and in order to do that, the schools need funding in the arts department. Tax dollars going towards this is not a waste and definitely should be continued.

Reflection
Last semester, my quality of work was pretty average. A few of the projects I did not have a complete index print. I also did not always turn my assignments in on time. Next semester I hope to improve my quality of work and pay more attention to the details of the assignments.
My effort last semester can definitely be improved on. I have a lot of hard classes and this class is one that I down play and need to pay more attention to. I need to do more than the bare minimum and take more pictures then is required. I hope this semester I have a positive attitude towards my photography.
My participation also has room for improvement this semester. Often times I do not work through out the duration of the block period. I need to cut back the time that I use on my phone and pay more attention to the assignment. Next semester i will make sure my work is done first before I do other things.
Lastly, my photography skills as a whole can improve. I need to focus on being more creative with my projects. My images could probably be more compelling and drawing to viewers. I plan to become more confident in my work and abilities.
